Who we are
About.
Social entertainment should be fun and frictionless. We are building that.
Our mission
Social media was built for communication, then rebuilt around advertising. You became the product. AI social entertainment, roleplay platforms, and companion apps were built to fill a different need but carried the same logic. Companions get shut down when it stops being profitable to run them. Privacy gets sold when it is convenient. The companion that feels like yours is having the exact same conversation with millions of other people right now. In social entertainment, you are not just the product. You are disposable, too.
Daydream is social entertainment built from the ground up with your interests at the center. We are not replacing your friends or competing for your social life. We are building something different: companions that remember who you are, your humor, your stories, and how you think, and that grow with every conversation. They exist only for you, never shared, never recycled. Because we are not running on ads or selling what you share with us, our only incentive is to make the experience something you genuinely want to return to.
Where we are now
We are in private research right now, hand-picking early users to help shape the product. If you are on the waitlist, thank you. What you tell us actually changes things.
What we believe in
You come first
Every platform that runs on ads made a choice: your attention is the product. We made a different one: your experience is the only thing we are optimizing for.
You are not a number
You have a history, a sense of humor, and a way of seeing the world. You deserve an experience that actually knows you and remembers who you are.
Aligned by design
We make money when you love the product enough to pay for it. No ads. No data brokering. Our incentives and yours point in the same direction.
Privacy is a right
Your conversations stay yours. Private by design, always.
Honest and open
Our roadmap is public, and our reasoning is transparent. The people using Daydream shape what gets built; you can hold us to that.
Built to last
We built Daydream because we wanted it to exist. We're in it for the long run.
